<td><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"><span style="font-family: Arial">Vatican, 25/7/2008 (CWNews.com). – Tòa Thánh Vatican đã chính thức phê chuẩn bản dịch mới bằng tiếng Anh của các kinh nguyện chính của Thánh Lễ được dùng trong nước Hoa Kỳ.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"><span style="font-family: Arial">Trong văn thư gửi Đức Cha Arthur Serratelli, chủ tịch Ủy Ban Phụng Vụ của HĐGMHK, Thánh Bộ Phụng Tự đã tuyên bố công nhận (recognitio) bản dịch, là bản đã được HĐGMHK chấp thuận, mặc dù có sự chống đối mạnh mẽ của một số giám mục cấp tiến.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"><span style="font-family: Arial">Bản dịch mới đi sát hơn với bản tiếng Latinh của <i>Sách Lễ Rôma (Roman Missal). </i>Từ ngày ban hành huấn thị <i>Liturgiam Authenticam</i>, chỉ thị cho việc phiên dịch hoàn chỉnh các bản văn phụng vụ, Tòa Thánh Vatican đã đòi buộc phải dịch cách trung thành hơn với các bản văn phụng vụ chính thức bằng tiếng Latinh.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"><span style="font-family: Arial">Ám chỉ cách nhẹ nhàng đến những tranh luận sôi nổi về những bản dịch phụng vụ tiếng Anh trong thập niên qua, Thánh Bộ Phụng Tự tường trình rằng “không ít hài lòng trong việc đi đến giai đoạn này.” Văn thư từ Vatican được ĐHY Francis Arinze và ĐTGM Albert Malcom Ranjith, là chủ tịch và thư ký Thánh Bộ ký tên.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"><span style="font-family: Arial">Sự phê chuẩn của Tòa Thánh xảy ra ngay sau khi HĐGMHK bỏ phiếu không chấp thuận một phần trong hàng loạt bản dịch phải có để hoàn thành tất cả dự án phiên dịch.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"><span style="font-family: Arial">Văn thư của Tòa Thánh nói rằng bản dịch mới <i>sẽ chưa được sử dụng ngay</i>. Thay vào đó các Giám Mục Hoa Kỳ được chỉ thị phải <i>bắt đầu “chuẩn bị mục vụ”</i> cho việc thay đổi từ ngữ trong Thánh Lễ. Cùng trong thời gian ấy, Thánh Bộ Phụng Tự ghi chú rằng cũng phải <i>phổ nhạc </i>cho bản văn.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"><span style="font-family: Arial">Trong những thay đổi đáng ghi nhận mà người Công Giáo sẽ thấy khi bản dịch mới có hiệu lực là:</span></p><ul style="margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in" type="square"><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 6.0pt; margin-bottom: 6.0pt"><span style="font-family: Arial">Trong khi Truyền Phép, linh mục sẽ nói về Máu của Đức Kitô <i>“poured out for you and for many (được đổ ra cho anh chị em và cho nhiều người)” </i>– là cách dịch chính xác của <b>pro multis</b> – thay vì “for all (cho mọi người)” như trong bản dịch hiện nay.</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 6.0pt; margin-bottom: 6.0pt"><span style="font-family: Arial">Trong Kinh Tin Kính Nicêa chữ mở đầu, Credo, sẽ được dịch đúng là <i>“I believe (Tôi tin)”</i> thay vì “We believe (Chúng tôi tin).”</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 6.0pt; margin-bottom: 6.0pt"><span style="font-family: Arial">Khi linh mục nói, "The Lord be with you, (Chúa ở cùng anh chị em)" giáo dân sẽ thưa, <i>"And with your spirit, (và ở cùng tinh thần cha)" </i>thay vì chỉ thưa, "And also with you (và ở cùng cha)."</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 6.0pt; margin-bottom: 6.0pt"><span style="font-family: Arial">Trong Kinh Nguyện Thánh Thể, khi nói về Hội Thánh thì dùng từ <i>“she”</i> và <i>“her”</i> thay vì “it.”</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 6.0pt; margin-bottom: 6.0pt"><span style="font-family: Arial">Trong kinh <i>Agnus Dei</i>, bản văn trích dẫn là "Lamb of God, who takes away the <i>sins (số nhiều) </i>of the world," thay vì “sin (số ít).</span></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: 6.0pt; margin-bottom: 6.0pt"><span style="font-family: Arial">Trong nghi thức sám hối thường dùng (Kinh Cáo Mình), tín hữu sẽ nhìn nhận rằng họ có tội <i>"through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault (lỗi tại tôi, lỗi tại tôi, lỗi tại tôi mọi đàng)."</i></span></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"><span style="font-family: Arial">Trong toàn thể bản dịch của phần Dâng Lễ và Kinh Nguyện Thánh Thể, những lời cầu khẩn theo truyền thống sẽ được phục hồi, và Hội Thánh được nhìn nhận là “thánh”—trong từng trường hợp, để phù hợp với bản chính thức bằng tiếng Latinh của Sách Lễ Rôma. </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 6.0pt 0in"> </p> </td>
