<font face="Arial">Năm Thánh Lòng Thương Xót của Hội Thánh Công Giáo khai
mạc ngày 8-12-2015, lễ Đức Mẹ Vô nhiễm Nguyên tội, và sẽ kết thúc vào ngày
20-11-2016, lễ Chúa Kitô Vua. “Mục đích của Năm Thánh là kêu gọi các tín hữu
chiêm ngắm dung nhan Thiên Chúa là Cha giàu lòng thương xót, được tỏ hiện
trọn vẹn nơi Đức Giêsu Kitô; nhờ đó chúng ta cảm nghiệm được lòng Chúa xót
thương và trở nên dấu chỉ cụ thể của lòng thương xót trong cuộc sống”.[1]
Tại Việt Nam, Năm Thánh Lòng Thương Xót trùng với Năm Tân Phúc-Âm-hóa đời
sống xã hội (2016), sau khi đã tập trung vào gia đình (2014) và cộng đoàn
giáo xứ, dòng tu (2015). “Sự trùng hợp này giúp chúng ta hiểu và sống cách
cụ thể định hướng mục vụ của Giáo Hội Việt Nam. Tân Phúc-Âm-hóa đời sống xã
hội chính là sống, chia sẻ, loan báo và làm chứng cho lòng thương xót ngay
trong đời sống xã hội”.[2] Dẫu vậy, công cuộc Tân-Phúc-Âm-hóa bao giờ cũng
bắt đầu từ mỗi cá nhân sống trong gia đình rồi đến xã hội: “tu thân, tề gia,
trị quốc”. Trước hoàn cảnh khủng hoảng hôn nhân gia đình hiện nay, Thượng
Hội Đồng Giám Mục Thế Giới lần thứ XIV vừa qua một lần nữa bàn thảo về Mục
vụ gia đình và nhấn mạnh đến tính chủ thể mục vụ của gia đình trong chủ đề:
“Ơn gọi và sứ mạng của gia đình trong Giáo hội và thế giới ngày nay”. Đức
Thánh Cha Phanxicô trong bài giảng lễ kết thúc đã nói bổn phận đầu tiên của
Hội Thánh không phải là «đưa ra những lời kết án hay vạ tuyệt thông» nhưng
là “công bố lòng thương xót của Thiên Chúa”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chuẩn bị mở Năm Thánh về Lòng Thương Xót, Đức Thánh Cha
Phanxicô nói: “Thời đại ngày nay, khi Hội Thánh đang thực thi công cuộc Tân
Phúc-Âm-hóa, lòng thương xót quả là cần thiết để một lần nữa tạo nên nhiệt
tình mới và đổi mới các hoạt động mục vụ. Điều tối quan trọng đối với Hội
Thánh, cũng như để làm cho lời rao giảng của Hội Thánh đáng tin, chính là
sống và làm chứng cho lòng thương xót. Ngôn ngữ và hành động của Hội Thánh
cần phải thông truyền lòng thương xót, để đến với trái tim con người và giúp
họ gặp thấy lối đường dẫn về Chúa Cha”.[3] Vì thế, trong năm mới đang tới
này, các đức Giám mục Việt Nam kêu gọi “mỗi người Công giáo phải trở thành
nhân tố tích cực trong việc xây đắp nền văn minh tình thương và văn hóa sự
sống. Không có những chứng nhân của lòng thương xót, xã hội sẽ trở thành một
sa mạc hoang vu, cằn cỗi, không sức sống. […] Đáp lại lời kêu gọi của Đức
Giáo hoàng Phanxicô, anh chị em hãy tích cực thực thi lòng thương xót”.[4]</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Để xây dựng nền văn minh tình thương và văn hóa sự sống,
người Công giáo có tấm bảng chỉ đường cụ thể là Giáo huấn xã hội của Giáo
hội. Giáo huấn này được trình bày trong tài liệu “Tóm lược Học thuyết xã hội

“Học thuyết xã hội là một phần thiết yếu cho tác vụ Phúc-âm-hóa của Giáo hội
nên trọn vẹn”.[6] Vì thế, cách đặc biệt trong năm mục vụ sắp tới này, mọi
thành phần Dân Chúa được khuyến khích học hỏi, thảo luận và giúp nhau sống những
giáo huấn này. Trong học thuyết xã hội của Giáo hội người Kitô hữu có thể
tìm thấy những nguyên tắc để suy tư, những tiêu chuẩn để phán đoán và những
chỉ dẫn để hành động. Đó là bước đầu để đẩy mạnh nền nhân bản toàn diện và
liên đới. “Giảng dạy và phổ biến học thuyết xã hội là một phần trong sứ mạng
loan báo Tin Mừng của Giáo Hội”.[7] Trong số những vấn đề xã hội, người Kitô
hữu hiện nay được mời gọi lưu ý đặc biệt đến vấn đề môi sinh và người nghèo
trong xã hội, lắng nghe và đáp lại “cả tiếng khóc của Trái đất, và tiếng
khóc của người nghèo”.[8]</font></p>

Việt Nam suy tư, sống, cảm nghiệm , chia sẻ và loan báo Lòng Thương Xót qua
việc Tân Phúc-Âm-hóa đời sống xã hội, chúng tôi gợi ý nơi đây các chủ đề
tương ứng với mỗi tháng trong năm 2016 này. Mỗi chủ đề cho thấy chiều dọc
của Lòng Thương xót được “nhập thể” trong chiều ngang, tức là chiều kích
nhân học xã hội, trong các lãnh vực khác nhau. Những chủ đề phản chiếu qua
các từ khóa: truyền giáo (sứ vụ), di dân, phẩm giá con người, gia đình, việc
làm (lao động), đối thoại (truyền thông), công ích, hòa bình, người nghèo,
môi sinh.</font></p>
