<font face="Arial">Tình yêu là một món quà. Nó đích thực là một món quà vì
nó là cái ta nhận lãnh, chứ không phải làm ra. Sự thực là chẳng có ai có thể
bằng khả năng của mình mà “làm ra” tình yêu cho riêng mình. Họ chỉ có thể
cất công lên đường tìm kiếm, rồi bất chợt một lúc nào đó bắt gặp được mà
thôi. Có người đã ví tình yêu như một tên trộm, lẻn vào trong mình lúc nào
mình chẳng biết; cho đến khi mình giật mình tỉnh giấc thì phát hiện đã bị
đánh mất trái tim. Không một lý trí nào có thể trả lời được câu hỏi là tại
sao mình yêu người này mà không phải yêu người khác, tại sao mình lại nhớ và
mong chờ người này chứ không phải người nọ, tại sao xuất hiện trong tâm trí
mình là người này chứ không phải người kia. Tình yêu là thế. Nó hành động
lén lút và tấn công bất ngờ. Khi trái tim đã bị đánh cắp rồi, thì ta chỉ có
thể mỉm cười và thừa nhận mình yếu đuối. Nhưng chẳng khi nào ta lại vui khi
mình bị mất mát như vậy cả, vì “đánh cắp trái tim” có nghĩa là đổ đầy vào đó
thần dược của Thiên Đàng. Nhưng tình yêu không phải là cái một khi đã có là
tồn tại mãi. Nó cần được dựng xây bởi cả hai qua từng giây từng phút của
cuộc đời. Một tình yêu, dù có đậm sâu mấy, nhưng không được để ý tới, sẽ dần
trở nên lạnh nhạt, tan biến, “vỗ cánh bay đi”.</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Cần phải biết nâng niu tình yêu, vì như đã nói, nó không
phải là cái lãnh nhận một lần cho tất cả. Tình yêu không phải là cái trơ trơ
năm này qua tháng khác. Tình yêu hệt như một em bé dễ thương, nằm ngọ ngậy,
khóc oe oe, đòi mẹ chăm sóc. Tình yêu hệt như cây non cần được chăm bón,
tưới nước, cắt tỉa. Tình yêu cũng như chiếc bình ngọc thạch quý giá, cần
được người khác nâng niu, chìu chuộng và thưởng thức nhẹ nhàng. Không chăm
sóc cho tình yêu, không nâng niu tình yêu, nó sẽ lụi tàn đi, héo úa đi, chết
đi ngay lập tức. Vậy nên, khi đã yêu, ta hãy chăm lo cho tình yêu bằng những
lời nói dịu ngọt, bằng sự nâng đỡ chân thành, bằng những quan tâm sâu sắc.
Những bữa ăn thân mật, những cánh hoa bất ngờ, những nụ cười nhẹ, cái nắm
tay, một nụ hôn truyền sức sống… tất cả đều là những “lương thực” rất tốt để
nuôi dưỡng tình yêu.</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Trong tình yêu, rất cần sự chung thuỷ và một sự trong
sáng dành cho nhau. Một trong những nét tuyệt vời của tình yêu chính là “sự
ích kỷ” của nó. Nó không thích bị chia sẻ. Nó muốn một sự trọn vẹn. Chỉ yêu
một nửa thì không phải là yêu. Trái tim sẽ không thể chịu đựng nỗi khi bị
chia cắt làm hai, làm ba hay làm nhiều phần. Chỉ khi nào người ta trao dâng
cho nhau một trái tim nguyên vẹn, trái tim ấy mới giúp cả hai thăng tiến và
hưởng nếm hương vị ngọt ngào của tình yêu. Khi đã yêu, ta muốn mình trở
thành “nhất” trong mắt người yêu và người yêu của mình cũng có một ước muốn
như vậy. Một con tim không thể cùng một lúc trao cho nhiều người được. Khi
trao con tim mình cho ai, ta trao cho người ấy trọn vẹn con người mình,
không để sót lại điều gì cả. Thế nhưng, có một nghịch lý thường tồn tại
trong ta là ta đòi hỏi người yêu mình phải chung thủy với mình, còn mình thì
lại buông thả, yêu vô tội vạ. Ta cảm thấy đau khi bị người mình yêu phản
bội, nhưng ta chẳng hề nghĩ đến cảm xúc của người khác thì mình phản bội
người ta. Ta cao ngạo, cho rằng mình quá tuyệt vời đến độ không thể chỉ dành
cho một người, nhưng khi người kia cũng có thái độ như vậy thì ta không chấp
nhận được. Ta lồng lộn lên với bao cảm giác tức tối. Để tình yêu được triển
nở, ta không được phép chia đôi con tim, không được phép thả lỏng mình chiều
theo những cảm xúc thấp hèn. Đó là quy luật mà ta không thể phá bỏ được. Nó
đòi hỏi ta phải hy sinh rất nhiều.</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Để tình yêu tồn tại, cũng cần một sự tôn trọng lẫn nhau.
Dù tình yêu đòi sự độc nhất, nhưng nó cũng không chấp nhận một sự bó buộc
hay kiềm kẹp nào. Một tình yêu sẽ chết khi người ta bóp nghẽn nó trong lòng
bàn tay, chứ không để cho nó tự do tung tăng bay nhảy. Một tình yêu đích
thực thì không làm cho người ta mất tự do, bị tù túng, nhưng làm cho người
ta thấy mình được triển nở và thành toàn một cách thật sung mãn. Hãy cố gắng
vun đắp và gìn giữ tình yêu, nhưng hãy làm điều đó bằng sự chân thành, bằng
con tim nồng ấm, chứ đừng bằng những thủ đoạn và những toan tính đầy ích kỷ
và muốn chiếm hữu của ta. Khi một tình yêu được trao ban, nó sẽ tự tìm đường
để bắt gặp một tình yêu đồng điệu khác. Ta không cần phải vẽ đường cho nó,
không cần lèo lái nó theo ý muốn chủ quan của ta. Lý do là vì lý trí không
thể bắt trái tim yêu hay không yêu ai được. Yêu một người, hiển nhiên là
mong muốn người ấy thuộc về mình, nhưng không phải là buộc người ấy phải cắt
đứt tất cả mọi tương quan và sở thích của người ấy. Yêu một người thì cũng
yêu luôn tất cả những thế mạnh và điểm yếu của người ấy. Yêu một người là
cùng xây đắp với nhau con đường chung để hai người cùng bước. Yêu một người

Làm như thế, tình yêu sẽ mất đi khoảng không để vùng vẫy. Khi ấy, hoặc là nó
sẽ tuột khỏi bàn tay ta, hoặc là nó sẽ vỡ vụn.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Để được như thế, bản thân mỗi bên phải thay đổi chính
mình. Phải bỏ đi cái tôi kiêu hãnh. Phải biết hạ mình khiêm tốn. Phải dành
cho nhau những hy sinh. Phải biết nghĩ đến người mình yêu mà phấn đấu cải
thiện bản thân, biến mình trở nên tốt hơn, tuyệt vời hơn để xứng đáng với
tình yêu ấy. Yêu là một lời mời gọi bản thân bước vào một thế giới mới, nơi
đó, con người cũ xấu xí và bất xứng của mình phải bị bỏ lại đàng sau. Dĩ
nhiên, ta không khoác lên mình một bộ mặt tốt đẹp giả tạo. Ta cũng không thể
biến thành một con người hoàn toàn khác. Ta cũng chẳng thể bỏ được những
thói hư tật xấu của mình trong một thoáng chốc. Nhưng để tình yêu của mình
được lớn lên và đơn hoa kết trái, ta phải biết sửa chữa những gì “chưa được”
nơi bản thân, để có thể cùng người mình yêu tiến đến một sự hoà hợp hoàn hảo
trong cuộc sống chung của hai người.</font></p>
