<font FACE="Arial">Hôm nay chúng ta tôn vinh tất cả những người làm cha.
Được gọi là ‘cha’ là một đặc ân tuyệt vời. Tiếng gọi ba ơi, cha ơi, thầy
ơi, daddy ơi và tía ơi... nghe thật là thân thương trìu mến. Con cái rất
quý mến và tôn trọng cha. Trong đời sống, chúng ta biết có rất nhiều
người cha gương mẫu, biết chu toàn bổn phận, chăm lo và gầy dựng cho đời
sống gia đình, yêu vợ thương con. Mong là ‘Cha mẹ hiền lành để đức cho
con’. Các người cha đôi khi cũng nên tự vấn rằng mình đã sống đúng tư
cách của một người cha hay chưa? Vì có rất nhiều người cha đã đang sa đà
rơi vào nghiện ngập, bài bạc, hút sách, si tình, bỏ bê vợ con, ăn chơi
trác táng và chỉ lo tìm thỏa mãn cuộc sống riêng tư. Con cái sẽ bị nhiễm

<font FACE="Arial">Hiện hữu trên đời, ai cũng có một người cha ruột
thịt. Chúng ta biết rằng không phải tất cả mọi người cha đều tốt và hoàn
thành trách nhiệm của mình. Kinh nghiệm cuộc sống xã hội hôm nay cho
chúng ta thấy đang có quá nhiều đổi thay trong quan niệm sống. Ảnh hưởng
của cá nhân chủ nghĩa và tục hóa hưởng thụ, đã có biết bao gia đình đang
phải sống trong cảnh đổ vỡ chia xa. Đời sống hôn nhân gia đình bị rơi
vào sự bế tắc và khủng hoảng. Có rất nhiều gia đình, mẹ đóng hai vai và
không cần bóng dáng đàn ông. Dần dần, chỗ đứng của người cha trong gia
đình không còn là trụ và là nóc nữa. Người ta thường nói: ‘Con có cha

<font FACE="Arial">Tiếng ‘CHA, DADDY’ rất là cao đẹp. Cha là thần tượng
của con cái. Cuộc sống dài hay ngắn không quan trọng. Mỗi người cha hãy
cố gắng sống với danh hiệu ‘cha’ của mình. Dù trong hoàn cảnh nào, chúng
ta đều có cơ hội nên tốt, làm tốt và sống tốt hơn. Không có khi nào trễ,
nếu chúng ta biết bắt lại từ đầu. Quay đầu là bờ. Tôi xin chia sẻ một
câu truyện nhỏ. Con cái của chúng ta tuy nhỏ bé nhưng luôn ngưỡng mộ
những người cha biết lo cho gia đình. Vai trò người của cha trong đời

của cô trình bày về một sự thật việc Chúa Giêsu đã đánh động thay đổi
đời sống của ông. Ông đang minh chứng làm thế nào mà Chúa đã cứu và giải
thoát ông khỏi lối sống cũ như một tay nghiện ngập. Hôm đó, có một người
hay chỉ trích cũng đứng trong đám đông. Ông ta không thể chịu nổi khi
nghe những chứng cứ về tôn giáo vô nghĩa này. Nên ông la to:“Tại sao ông

đang nói tới đó. Ông đã nói rằng ba cháu là người mơ mộng phải không? Để
cháu kể về ba của cháu. Ba của cháu là một tay nghiện và mỗi đêm khi trở
về nhà, ba đã đánh đập mẹ của cháu. Mẹ khóc suốt đêm. Và thưa ông, chúng
cháu thường không có quần áo tốt để mặc, vì ba cháu tiêu xài và trả tiền
rượu whiskey hểt rồi. Đôi khi, cháu không có giầy để mang khi đến
trường. Nhưng bác nhìn nè, đây là giầy mới và quần áo mới! Bây giờ ba
cháu đã có công việc tốt”. Cô bé chỉ qua phía bên kia và nói: “Bác có
thấy người đàn bà đang mỉm cười kia không? Mẹ của cháu đó! Mẹ không còn
khóc qua đêm nữa. Bây giờ mẹ vui lắm! Rồi cô bé nắm tay xác tín. Cô bé
nói: Chúa Giêsu đã làm thay đổi đời ba cháu. Chúa Giêsu đã đổi thay gia
đình của cháu. Thưa ông, nếu ba của cháu đang mơ mộng, xin ông đừng đánh

gieo sự sống đời này qua đời khác. Cha là dụng cụ Thiên Chúa đã quan
phòng sắp đặt để sự sống được nối dài. Cha đã cộng tác vào công trình

mang danh hiệu là cha, cha tinh thần, cha đỡ đầu, cha linh hướng và cha
nuôi… Xin dâng lời tạ ơn Thiên Chúa. Cầu xin cho các người Cha được chu
toàn bổn phận, trách nhiệm và nêu gương sáng cho lũ cháu đàn con. Xin
Thánh Cả Giuse là mẫu gương của sự khiêm nhường, nhịn nhục và đơn sơ
