cho các Kitô hữu bị bách hại. Xin Chúa Thánh Thần ban sức chịu đựng
cho những người bị phân biệt đối xử, bị ngược đãi, hoặc phải chết vì
Danh Chúa Kitô, nhất là ở Á châu.</font></span></span></p>

truyền thống, Giáo hội Công giáo dành riêng tháng Ba để tôn kính Đức
Thánh Giuse, Phu quân của Đức Trinh nữ Maria và Dưỡng phụ của Chúa
Giêsu. Đặc biệt là những người cha nên phát triển lòng sùng kính Đức
Thánh Giuse, vì chính Đức Thánh Giuse đã được Thiên Chúa chọn để
chăm sóc Chúa Con. Các kinh nguyện nên kết hợp với lời cầu xin cùng
Đức Thánh Giuse, đặc biệt trong tháng Ba này.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">Kinh cầu này đã
được Thánh GH Piô X (1903-1914) phê chuẩn, cho thấy lòng sùng kính
Đức Thánh Giuse được phát triển từ thế kỷ XX. Có nhiều phép lạ và
nhiều danh xưng dành cho Đức Thánh Giuse, điều đó nhắc chúng ta rằng
Dưỡng phụ của Chúa Giêsu là mẫu gương hoàn hảo về đời sống Kitô
giáo. Như các kinh cầu khác, Kinh cầu Ông Thánh Giuse được làm ra để
đọc chung, nhưng vẫn có thể đọc riêng. Trong đó dùng nhiều tôn danh
và nói đến nhiều nhân đức của vị thánh “không nói, làm nhiều” này.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">Chân phước GH
Gioan XXIII (1958-1963) cũng yêu mến Đức Thánh Giuse và đã soạn một
kinh dâng những người lao động cho ngài, vì ngài là một người lao
động bằng nghề thợ mộc, tuy nghèo nhưng chân chính. Vì thế, ngài là
thánh bổn mạng của giới lao động và là Đấng bảo trợ những vụ khó
khăn, đặc biệt là bầu cử cho chúng ta trong cơn hấp hối. Là người
“chống mũi chịu sào” đưa Thánh Gia vượt qua mọi giông tố cuộc đời,
ngài còn là mẫu gương về đức khiết tịnh – Nhánh Huệ Nước Trời.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">Chúng ta không
biết nhiều về ngài. Có lẽ ngài quá khiêm nhường, không hề nói gì, sử
sách cũng không ghi chép gì nhiều về ngài. Chúng ta chỉ có thể thấy
“bóng dáng” ngài trong Phúc âm: Phu quân của Đức Trinh nữ Maria và
Dưỡng phụ của Chúa Giêsu. Tuy nhiên, Kinh thánh tôn vinh ngài là
“người công chính”, và Giáo hội đã hướng về ngài để xin ngài bảo
trợ. Trong Tông thư </font>

1889, ĐGH Leo XIII giải thích lý do chúng ta đặt niềm tín thác vào
Đức Thánh Giuse:</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<b><i><span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">“Khi trao
Đức Mẹ cho Đức Thánh Giuse để làm Hiền thê, Thiên Chúa không chỉ đặt
ngài làm bạn đời của Đức Mẹ, mà còn làm nhân chứng cho sự trinh
khiết của Đức Mẹ, bảo vệ danh dự của Đức Mẹ, đồng thời thể hiện nhân
đức trong hệ lụy hôn nhân và tham dự vào phẩm giá tuyệt vời của Đức
Mẹ. Đức Thánh Giuse quan tâm chăm sóc mọi nhu cầu của gia đình tại
Nadarét và bảo vệ gia đình ấy, ngày nay ngài sẽ phủ áo choàng bảo vệ
của ngài để bảo vệ Giáo hội của Chúa Giêsu”.</font></span></i></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">Một trăm năm sau,
ĐGH Gioan Phaolô II đã tiếp bước vị tiền nhiệm bằng cách công bố
Tông huấn
<a target="blank" href="http://www.catholicculture.org/library/view.cfm?recnum=5462">
<span style="color: windowtext">Redemptoris Custos</span></a> (Người
Chăm Nom Đấng Cứu Thế) vào ngày 15-8-1989, với hy vọng rằng mọi
người có thể phát triển lòng sùng kính Đấng Bảo trợ của Giáo hội
Hoàn vũ. Ngài bảo trợ nhiều người, nhiều thứ. Ngài bảo trợ những
người hấp hối vì Chúa Giêsu và Đức Mẹ đã ở bên ngài khi ngài hấp
hối. Ngài cũng là bổn mạng các gia trưởng, các thợ thuyền, và những
người hoạt động vì công bình xã hội. Nhiều dòng tu cũng tôn ngài làm
Đấng bảo trợ đời sống tu trì.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">Giáo hội khuyến
khích chúng ta sùng kính Đức Thánh Giuse vì ngài là mẫu gương anh
dũng trong việc thực hành các nhân đức. Đọc Phúc âm chúng ta có thể
thấy đức tin, đức cậy và đức ái của ngài trong những hoàn cảnh khó
khăn. Ngài cẩn trọng khi chăm sóc vợ con, ngài tỏ ra có tài lãnh đạo
khi bảo vệ và giúp đỡ vợ con. Ngài đạo đức, tinh tế và chân thật.
Ngài công chính khi đối xử với Thiên Chúa và con người, đồng thời
nổi bật về sức chịu đựng và can đảm, đặc biệt về đức khiết tịnh.
Ngài còn </font><b><font face="Arial">bảo vệ</font></b><font face="Arial">
và <b>bênh vực</b> nhân đức của Đức Mẹ khi còn đang thời gian đính
hôn và khi sống đời hôn nhân. Cả hai đều khấn giữ đồng trinh vì
Chúa, đám chìm trong tình yêu Thiên Chúa. Thời gian trôi qua, Giáo
hội minh định rằng Đức Thánh Giuse không chỉ là thánh nhân đối với
một số người mà ngài còn giúp đỡ mọi người (Cuốn <b>St. Joseph: a
Theological Introduction</b> của Michael D. Griffin, Dòng kín
Camêlô). Từ cuối thế kỷ XIX, người ta còn có cách sùng kính ngài
bằng phong trào đạo đức là <b>Bảy Ngày Thứ Tư</b>.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">Lễ trọng mừng Đức
Thánh Giuse (19-3) rơi vào Mùa Chay, khi Giáo hội tập trung vào việc
chuẩn bị kính nhớ Cuộc khổ nạn của Đức Giêsu Kitô. Phụng vụ muốn mọi
người nhận biết tầm quan trọng của ý nghĩa Mùa Chay, do đó việc sùng
kính Đức Thánh Giuse trong tháng Ba nhằm khuyến khích mọi người noi
gương sống thánh thiện của ngài nhiều hơn theo tinh thần Mùa Chay.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">Tháng Ba nhắc nhở
chúng ta điều quan trọng:<b> “Hãy đến cùng Giuse – Ite ad Joseph”</b>
(St 41:55). Thánh nữ Têrêsa Avila (Tiến sĩ Giáo hội) cũng nhắc nhở:
<i>“Tôi xin Đức Thánh Giuse cái gì cũng được. Ai không tin, hãy thử
mà xem”</i>.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" align="justify" style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<b><span style="font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Arial">Lạy Thiên
Chúa, xin dạy chúng con biết kính yêu ông bà và cha mẹ như Chúa
Giêsu đã sống hiếu thảo với Đức Mẹ và Đức Thánh Giuse, xin giúp
chúng con biết noi gương Đức Thánh Giuse là can đảm sống ngay chính
trong mọi hoàn cảnh và không ngừng canh tân đời sống. Chúng con cầu
xin nhân danh Thánh Tử Giêsu Kitô, Thiên Chúa của chúng con. Amen.</font></span></b></p>
