cho các Giáo hội nghèo. Xin cho các cộng đoàn Kitô hữu sẵn lòng gởi các thừa
sai, linh mục và giáo dân, cùng với sự trợ giúp cụ thể, tới các Giáo hội
nghèo.</font><span class="apple-converted-space"></span></span></i></p>

người Công giáo, chúng ta có lúc gặp khó khăn trong việc đánh giá lòng sùng
kính cuộc khổ nạn của Đức Kitô. Đó là sự không thoải mái khiến chúng ta cảm
thấy mình có tội với Đức Kitô. Có thể chúng ta cảm thấy xấu hổ mà tránh né
cuộc khổ nạn của Ngài. Mầu nhiệm đau khổ là một phần trong chuỗi Mân Côi:
Năm sự Thương.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Không ai thích
đau khổ, nhưng khi cảm nhận được sự đau khổ thì chúng ta sẽ cảm thấy thú vị
và đau khổ có giá trị kỳ diệu. Hãy học theo Thánh Alphong Ligôriô
(1696-1787, Giám mục Tiến sĩ Giáo hội) để hiểu rõ về tình yêu của Đức Kitô,
Đấng đã vì yêu mà chết vì chúng ta, và hãy chiêm niệm sự đau khổ của Ngài
qua cái nhìn của Đức Maria. Tất cả các thánh đều tôn sùng cuộc khổ nạn và
cái chết của Đức Kitô. Thánh Phaolô đã biến sự đau khổ của Đức Kitô thành
trung tâm điểm và tập trung vào cuộc sống đạo đức: <i>“Tôi đã không muốn
biết đến chuyện gì khác ngoài Đức Giêsu Kitô, mà là Đức Giêsu Kitô chịu đóng
đinh vào thập giá”</i> (1 Cr 2:2).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Chúng ta cùng đi
Đàng Thánh Giá với Đức Mẹ, cùng Đức Mẹ chiêm ngắm tình yêu Thiên Chúa qua
mầu nhiệm đau khổ. Khi đó, hãy nắm lấy tay Đức Mẹ để Đức Mẹ dẫn chúng ta đi
suốt các chặng Đàng Thánh Giá. Năm sự Thương trong chuỗi Mân Côi kỳ diệu nếu
chúng ta thực sự tập trung vào chiều kích của Đức Mẹ và xin Mẹ cho chúng ta
được thấy Chúa Giêsu. Đức Mẹ sẽ giúp giảm nhẹ tội lỗi và khuyếch tán Lòng
Chúa Thương Xót.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Bảy nỗi khổ của
Đức Mẹ cũng là lòng sùng kính tuyệt vời giúp linh hồn biết yêu thương, biết
đánh giá cao cuộc khổ nạn của Đức Kitô và lòng từ bi của Đức Mẹ. Bảy nỗi khổ
của Đức Mẹ là:</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">1. Thánh Simêon
nói tiên tri về Đức Mẹ: <i>“Một lưỡi gươm sẽ đâm thâu tâm hồn Chị”</i> (Lc
2:35).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">2. Hành trình
tới Ai Cập: Nghèo khổ, vất vả, gian nan, xa lạ, chủ nghĩa ngoại giáo của Ai
Cập,…</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">3. Khi lạc mất
Con trẻ Giêsu trong Đền thờ, Đức Mẹ rất khổ sở vì thiếu vắng sự hiện diện
của Thiên Chúa.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">4. Gặp Chúa
Giêsu vác Thập giá lên Can-vê, Đức Mẹ đau khổ đến nỗi không thể làm gì khác.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">5. Khi Chúa
Giêsu bị đóng đinh, một lưỡi gươm thực sự đâm xé lòng Đức Mẹ.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">6. Khi hạ xác
Chúa Giêsu xuống khỏi Thập giá, Đức Mẹ ôm xác Con yêu, cũng là Thiên Chúa và
Đấng cứu độ.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">7. Khi an táng
Chúa Giêsu trong mộ, Đức Mẹ xếp khăn liệm Con và được Thánh Giuse Arimathê
dẫn ra khỏi mộ.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Cuốn sách “Vinh
Quang của Đức Maria” (Glories of Mary) của Thánh Alphong Ligôriô có thể giúp
chúng ta hiểu rõ hơn về bảy nỗi khổ của Đức Mẹ.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Thánh Alphong
Ligôriô cho chúng ta biết rằng Đức Mẹ là vị tử đạo vĩ đại nhất vì cuộc tử
đạo của Đức Mẹ kéo dài vài thập niên. Một lưỡi gươm đâm thâu lòng Đức Mẹ
trên đồi Can-vê và Đức Mẹ bắt đầu chết dần chết mòn từ đó. Đức Mẹ như con
nai bị mũi tên của thợ săn bắn trọng thương, phải chịu đựng vết thương đó
suốt quãng đời còn lại.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Ngày 15 tháng 9
là lễ Đức Mẹ Sầu Bi (trước đây gọi là lễ Đức Mẹ Bảy Sự) nên tháng 9 được
Giáo hội dành riêng kính nhớ Đức Mẹ Sầu Bi. Lễ Đức Mẹ Sầu Bi là ngày đặc
biệt để chúng ta suy niệm về những nỗi khổ của Đức Mẹ để có thể vui chịu đau
khổ cuộc đời, là tuân phục Ý Chúa muốn tôi luyện chúng ta nên thánh.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Kinh thánh nói
về những nỗi khổ của Đức Mẹ: <i>“Hỡi thiếu nữ Giêrusalem, ví ngươi cùng ai,
sánh ngươi với ai? Này trinh nữ, cô gái Sion, ai cứu được ngươi, ai ủi an
ngươi? Tai hoạ ngươi mắc phải lớn quá rồi, lớn tựa trùng dương, ai chữa
nổi?”</i> (Ac 2:13).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Đại dương sâu và
rộng thế nào? Đó là chiều sâu và chiều rộng của tình yêu đau khổ mà Đức Mẹ
đã dành cho Chúa Giêsu.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0"><b>
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Lạy Chúa Giêsu,
xin thương xót các tội nhân chúng con và xin giúp chúng con kiên tâm vác
thập giá cuộc đời theo Ngài trong mọi hoàn cảnh.</span></b></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0"><b>
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Lạy Mẹ Maria,
xin thương hướng dẫn và nâng đỡ chúng con trên những chặng Đàng Thánh Giá
của cuộc lữ hành trần gian để mai đây chúng con xứng đáng vào Thiên quốc để
vĩnh viễn cùng Mẹ ca tụng Thiên Chúa muôn đời.</span></b></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0"><b>
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 12" lang="EN-US">Chúng con cầu
