<font face="Arial">Trong các ca khúc giáng sinh có một số không là Thánh
ca nhưng lời ca tương tự Thánh ca. Một trong số đó là ca khúc “The
Little Drummer Boy” (Chú Bé Đánh Trống).</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="color: black"><font face="Arial">Ca khúc này được viết ở âm
thể Trưởng, giai điệu đơn giản nhưng vẫn quyện vào nhịp 4/4 với tiết tấu
rộn ràng. Bài hát chỉ là một đoạn nhạc, câu nhạc lại ngắn gọn, nhưng
được lặp đi lặp lại. Sau mỗi câu ngắn đều có tiếng “gõ” theo nhịp trống:
</font></span><font face="Arial">Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum (Pa rám păm pắm păm).</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Ca khúc này được nhạc sĩ Harry Simeone sáng tác năm
1941, được nhóm The Trapp Family Singers thu âm năm 1955, phổ biến từ
năm 1958 nhờ Ban hợp xướng Harry Simeone thu âm trong album “Sing We Now
of Christmas”, và đã được dịch sang 7 ngôn ngữ. Sau đó, ca khúc này còn
được Katherine Kennicott Davis và Henry Onorati thu âm, và rồi hai người
này đòi quyền để tên chung với NS Harry Simeone (như chúng ta thấy ghi
tên ba tác giả ở bản nhạc này).</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="background: white"><font face="Arial">Lời ca nói về một chú
bé nghèo được các Đạo Sĩ mời đến hang Belem cùng thờ lạy Vương Nhi mới
sinh, nhưng chú bé nghèo này không có quà dâng cho Hài Nhi Giêsu. Thế là
chú bé xin được đánh trống </font></span><span style="color: black">
<font face="Arial">để làm món quà dâng Chúa Hài Đồng</font></span><span style="background: white"><font face="Arial">.
Được Đức Mẹ “gật đầu” đồng ý, chú bé đánh trống với cả tài sức mình có</font></span><span style="color: black"><font face="Arial">.
Chú bé khua trống rộn ràng, tiếng trống âm vang. Mấy con bò và mấy con
chiên (cừu) hòa tấu và giữ nhịp bằng cách gật gật và lắc lắc cái đầu.
Nghe xong, Bé Giêsu đã mỉm cười với </font></span>
<span style="background: white"><font face="Arial">chú</font></span><span style="color: black"><font face="Arial">
bé. Đó là ơn phước Chúa Hài Đồng dành cho </font></span>
<span style="background: white"><font face="Arial">chú</font></span><span style="color: black"><font face="Arial">
bé nghèo đáng thương kia.</font></span></p>

<span style="color: black"><font face="Arial">Chắc hẳn </font></span>
<span style="background: white"><font face="Arial">chú</font></span><span style="color: black"><font face="Arial">
bé cũng cười toe toét, cười “hết cỡ thợ mộc”. Một đứa trẻ nghèo đâu dám
mong gì hơn là được hưởng niềm hạnh phúc giản dị với tâm hồn đơn sơ và
trong trắng. Món quà đơn sơ chỉ là một “bài khua trống”, nhưng đó lại là
món quà Bé Giêsu rất thích nên mới mỉm cười với chú bé đánh trống.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="background: white"><font face="Arial">Có thể vì gia cảnh
nghèo hoặc mồ côi mà chú bé phải mưu sinh bằng nghề đánh trống. Chắc hẳn
chú bé chẳng được ai dạy đánh trống, chỉ đánh mãi thành quen. Trăm hay
không bằng tay quen, nghề lại dạy nghề thôi.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="background: white"><font face="Arial">Ngay trong đêm Giáng
Sinh, đêm hạnh phúc của những trẻ em có cha mẹ, đêm vui mừng của mọi
người, đêm bình an của nhân loại, nhưng chú bé kia không được hưởng chút
niềm vui đơn giản nhất của kiếp người, vì em còn phải tự mưu sinh. Nghèo
không là tội nhưng là cái vạ của kiếp người, vì người nghèo luôn bị mọi
người khinh miệt và xa lánh!</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<span style="background: white"><font face="Arial">Thế giới văn minh
ngày nay với công nghệ và kỹ thuật tiên tiến, những Công Tử Bạc Liêu vẫn
“vô tư” ném tiền qua cửa sổ, những đại gia giàu sụ vẫn vung tay quá trán
và sẵn sàng “rửa tiền”, thế nhưng có biết bao người phải cực khổ mưu
sinh mà không đủ sống, đáng lưu tâm là có biết bao trẻ em đang phải làm
những việc không phù hợp với lứa tuổi, không được đi học, thiếu tình
thương gia đình. Những người có chức, có quyền (cả đời và đạo) vẫn hô
hào ầm ĩ, nhưng “sống chết mặc bay, tiền thầy bỏ túi”.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">

không chỉ đánh trống mà còn “đánh thức” đức tin của chúng ta. Chúa Giêsu
sinh ra nghèo, sống nghèo và chết nghèo, vậy tại sao chúng ta khinh ghét
người nghèo? Chúa Hài Đồng không cần những của ngon vật lạ, những món
quà giá trị vật chất, mà Ngài chỉ cần (và bắt buộc) chúng ta hành động
như chú bé đánh trống. Đừng nói suông, đừng nghĩ rồi thôi, mà phải HÀNH
ĐỘNG ngay trong Mùa Giáng Sinh này.</font></span></p>
