Khi ấy, Chúa Giêsu đến miền Xêsarêa Philipphê, và hỏi các môn đệ
rằng: “Người ta bảo Con Người là ai?” ¹⁴ Các ông thưa: “Kẻ thì bảo
là Gioan Tẩy Giả, kẻ thì bảo là Êlia, kẻ khác lại bảo là Giêrêmia
hay một trong các tiên tri!” ¹⁵ Chúa Giêsu nói với các ông: “Phần
các con, các con bảo Thầy là ai?” ¹⁶ Simon Phêrô thưa rằng: “Thầy là
Đức Kitô, Con Thiên Chúa hằng sống”. ¹⁷ Chúa Giêsu trả lời rằng:
“Hỡi Simon con ông Giona, con có phúc, vì chẳng phải xác thịt máu
huyết mạc khải cho con, nhưng là Cha Thầy, Đấng ngự trên trời. ¹⁸
Vậy Thầy bảo con biết: Con là Đá, trên đá này Thầy sẽ xây Hội Thánh
của Thầy, và cửa địa ngục sẽ không thắng được”. ¹⁹ Thầy trao cho anh
chìa khoá Nước Trời: dưới đất, anh cầm buộc điều gì, trên trời cũng
sẽ cầm buộc như vậy; dưới đất, anh tháo cởi điều gì, trên trời cũng

con Thiên Chúa; những ai sống trong ân sủng của Đức Giêsu Kitô thì

không kết tội chị" (Ga 8, 11). Điều mà Thiên Chúa muốn tháo cởi cho

vậy, Chúa Giêsu thiết lập Hội Thánh Chúa ngay trên trần gian này để
con người cảm nhận được sự sống vĩnh hằng mai sau trên Nước Trời.
Hội Thánh Chúa thách thức cả quyền lực hoả ngục, vì bởi quyền lực
hoả ngục cám dỗ một người mà tội lỗi đã nhập vào thế gian, và bởi
tội mà phải chết, thì nay bởi một Người là Con Thiên Chúa đã ban
tràn đầy ân sủng để chiến thắng quyền lực hoả ngục, và bởi ân sủng
mà được sự sống đời đời. Cho nên, ở đâu tội lỗi đầy tràn thì ở đó
càng tràn đầy ân sủng của Thiên Chúa.<br>

sức mạnh của Chúa Giêsu Kitô và nhờ Người mà ân sủng tràn đầy trên
thế gian, nên chìa khóa Chúa trao cho thánh Phêro để cầm buộc những
ai không tin nhận Chúa Giêsu Kitô là Con Thiên Chúa Đấng cứu chuộc
trần gian thì sống trong tội lỗi và cầm buộc họ phải chết, còn những
ai tin nhận Chúa Giêsu Kitô là Con Thiên Chúa và là Đấng cứu chuộc
mình thì được tháo cởi mọi tội lỗi, được phục hồi làm con Thiên Chúa
và được sự sống đời đời.<br>

Lòng Thương Xót của Chúa, hội thánh đã dùng quyền chìa khóa mà tạo
rất nhiều cơ hội tháo cởi tội lỗi cho con người như các ân xá, đại
xá vào rất nhiều dịp thuận tiện trong mùa chay, tháng cầu hồn, trong
các Năm Thánh.</font></div>
