bố mẫu mực. Chúng trộn dịch vị với bột gỗ để làm tổ, sau đó
tìm kiếm thức ăn cho ấu trùng. Đây là hành vi rất khác
thường trong thế giới côn trùng. Những con gián đực cũng săn
lùng phân chim, thứ chứa nitơ và rất cần thiết đối với sự
phát triển của ấu trùng, để mang về tổ. Chúng cũng thường
xuyên làm sạch tổ để ngăn chặn sự phát triển của nấm mốc.
