điện), hay tọa lạc trên những vùng đất bí ẩn ở châu Phi, Hoàng cung lớn
nhất thế giới đang ngự tại vùng đất Đông Nam Á trù phú.</font></b></p>

cung điện ít được biết đến của hoàng gia Brunei, đất nước giàu có bậc
nhất trong khu vực. Cung điện có tên Istana Nurul Iman, theo tiếng Ả rập
có nghĩa là: “Cung điện ánh sáng của các vị Thánh”. Đây chính là hoàng
cung lớn nhất thế giới hiện nay (vượt xa Buckingham – Anh và Madrid –
Tây Ban Nha).</font></span></p>

trên một ngọn đồi được phủ đầy bóng cây xanh trên hạ lưu sông Brunei,
mặt tiền của cung điện hướng về phía Nam nơi có thủ đô Bandar Seri
Begawan . Hoàng cung Istana Nurul Iman là nơi ở của quốc vương Hassanal
Bolkiah và dòng dõi hoàng tộc của ông. Đồng thời cung điện cũng chính là
chỗ ở và làm việc của chính phủ Brunei và văn phòng thủ tướng.</font></span></p>

điện Ánh sáng của các vị Thánh” được thiết kế bởi kiến trúc sư tài danh

tế Ayala International. Được xây vào năm 1984, với tổng chi phí là 1,4
tỷ USD (tương đương với khoảng 29 nghìn tỷ VNĐ).</font></span></p>

cung theo kiến trúc Hồi giáo này có diện tích 200.000m2, với 1.788
phòng, 257 phòng tắm, 564 đèn treo nhiều ngọn, 51.000 ngọn đèn, 44 cầu
thang bộ, 18 cầu thang máy, 5 hồ bơi đầy đủ tiện nghi. Máy lạnh được gắn
khắp nơi trong cung điện, kể cả chuồng nuôi ngựa của nhà vua. Trong
hoàng cung có nuôi 200 con ngựa, có 110 gara để đậu xe ở tầng hầm, nhà
vua có bộ sưu tập hơn 500 chiếc xe hơi đắt tiền, đáng kể là 165 chiếc
Roll – Royce hạng sang làm theo đơn đặt hàng.</font></span></p>

người. Tất cả các căn phòng, đặc biệt là phòng làm việc của Quốc vương
đều được trang trí nội thất cao cấp, sang trọng với thiết kế tinh xảo,
làm từ các loại kim loại quý như: vàng, bạc… Hơn thế nữa, phía trên cung
điện là một mái vòm làm bằng vàng chói sáng khiến Istana Nurul Iman càng
thêm phần lộng lẫy và nguy nga hơn.</font></span></p>
