nói Thánh Hyacintha chỉ sống theo đường lối của Chúa khi ngài đã lớn
tuổi. Ðược sinh trưởng trong một gia đình quý phái gần Viterbo, ngài gia
nhập dòng nữ tu sống theo quy luật Thánh Phanxicô. Tuy nhiên, ngài tự
ban cho mình đầy đủ thực phẩm, quần áo và nhiều phương tiện khác của một
đời sống xa hoa trong khi các nữ tu khác phải giữ lời khấn hãm mình phạt
xác.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: .0001pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Trong một
cơn bạo bệnh, vì bệnh tình nặng nề nên cha giải tội phải đem Mình Thánh
vào phòng cho ngài. Thấy chướng tai gai mắt trước lối sống dễ dãi của
ngài, cha giải tội khuyên ngài nên sống khó nghèo. Hyacintha vứt bỏ tất
cả quần áo đẹp đẽ và thức ăn đặc biệt. Sau đó ngài ăn năn đền tội và sẵn
sàng làm bất cứ công việc nào hèn hạ nhất trong tu viện. Ngài tự đặt ra
cho mình một phương cách sùng kính đặc biệt những thương tích của Ðức
Kitô, và sự ăn năn sám hối của ngài đã trở thành khuôn mẫu cho các nữ tu
khác. Ngài được phong thánh năm 1807.</span></td></tr></table></body></html>
