Chân Phước Innocent ở Berzo (1844-1890) </span></b></p>

1844 ở gần Brescia thuộc phía bắc nước Ý, Innocent xin gia nhập dòng
Capuchin Phanxicô khi 30 tuổi và đã là một linh mục triều. Ngài giữ chức
vụ phó giám đốc đệ tử viện và sau đó là cha giám tập.</span></p>

Innocent có biệt tài giúp đỡ các người trẻ theo đuổi ơn gọi tu trì trong
đời sống dòng Phanxicô. Ngài yêu mến họ và ngược lại họ rất quý trọng
ngài. Ngài kêu gọi sự hãm mình phạt xác, nhất là gìn giữ miệng lưỡi,
nhưng ngài biết sự kỷ luật bề ngoài chỉ là giả dối nếu không có sự hãm
mình bên trong.</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Vị tu sĩ
khắc khổ này từ trần ngày 3 tháng Ba 1890, khi mới 45 tuổi, vì bị bệnh
cúm khi trên hành trình rao giảng. Ngài được Ðức Giáo Hoàng Gioan XXIII
phong chân phước năm 1961. Những phép lạ được ghi nhận trong tiến trình
phong thánh đều là việc chữa lành các trẻ em bệnh tật.</span></td></tr></table></body></html>
