Khi thầy bị bắt vì đạo, nhiều người tỏ lòng thương hại thầy. Quan khuyên thầy bước qua thập giá để được tha, nhưng thầy cương quyết từ chối. Dù rất kính trọng cha Liêu, tôi cũng không thể làm điều sai lạc đó được. Hơn nữa, tôi biết chắc ngài không ra lệnh tôi như vậy.
